The organization provides Navigation Calls — one-on-one advising sessions connecting newcomers with relevant resources, communities, and career pathways — alongside cohort-based learning groups (Quest Parties) and a mentorship program (MAGIS) co-run with Sci.STEPS. Founded in early 2023 under the umbrella of Alignment Ecosystem Development, AI Safety Quest operates entirely on volunteer effort and aims to provide scalable onboarding and community coordination across the AI safety ecosystem.
