AISafety.info is an AI safety education initiative founded by Robert Miles, a British science communicator who has been explaining AI safety and alignment on YouTube since 2015. His YouTube channel (Rob Miles AI Safety) is the single most popular AI alignment video series, with over 145,000 subscribers. The project also encompasses aisafety.info (also known as Stampy), an interactive FAQ and chatbot that uses curated alignment literature to answer questions about AI safety with cited sources. The site is maintained by a global team of volunteers and is fiscally sponsored through Ashgro Inc. Miles originally gained attention through appearances on the Computerphile YouTube channel before launching his own dedicated AI safety content.
