Updated 05/18/26Dr Kerry McInerney (née Mackereth) is an AI ethics researcher whose work focuses on how artificial intelligence intersects with race, gender, inequality and global politics. She has held roles as a Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, co‑leading the Global Politics of AI project, and is a Lecturer in AI at the University of Auckland School of Computer Science as well as a Research Fellow at the AI Now Institute. She co‑hosts The Good Robot podcast on feminism and technology, is an AHRC/BBC Radio 3 New Generation Thinker, and is co‑editor or co‑author of volumes such as Feminist AI and The Good Robot: Why Technology Needs Feminism.
