AI Digest is a project of Sage Future, Inc., a US 501(c)(3) charity whose mission is to build tools to make sense of the future. The organization produces hands-on, interactive demonstrations and visual explainers covering critical AI capabilities — including agent behavior, deception, election interference risks, and forecasting — with a particular focus on capabilities most relevant to how advanced AI will affect the world. Its primary audience includes AI professionals, policymakers, and decision-makers at institutions such as Oxford, MIT, OpenAI, and the US Department of Energy. Funding has come from Coefficient Giving (formerly Open Philanthropy), the Survival and Flourishing Fund, and individual donors.

Theory of Change
AI Digest believes that abstract descriptions and benchmarks are insufficient for decision-makers to truly understand what AI systems can and cannot do. By providing direct, hands-on interaction with AI systems through demos and explainers, they aim to build accurate mental models among policymakers, researchers, and the public. Better-informed stakeholders are more likely to make good decisions about AI governance, safety investments, and risk mitigation — thereby reducing the probability of catastrophic outcomes from advanced AI. Their focus on capabilities most relevant to AI R&D speedup, agency, and deception is specifically chosen to prioritize understanding of the risks most central to long-term AI safety.
