Skyler Crossman
Bio
Skyler Crossman is a community organizer based in Malden, Massachusetts, best known as the ACX Meetups Czar — the global coordinator for Astral Codex Ten and rationality community meetups worldwide. Starting in early 2023, he took on the role of coordinating the annual ACX Everywhere meetup series, which in 2023 spanned over 180 cities globally, and has continued organizing these events in subsequent years. He operates independently through his organization rationalitymeetups.org and works in close collaboration with the LessWrong team, funded by grants from the Long-Term Future Fund. Beyond ACX Everywhere, he organizes the NYC Rationalist Megameetup, the NYC and Boston Secular Solstice events, and broader rationality community-building initiatives. He has been an active participant in the LessWrong rationalist community since 2014, posting under the handle Screwtape. His background prior to full-time community work was in software engineering at Aras Labs.
