Updated 05/18/26The Hardware Assurance Programme is a six-day intensive run by Cambridge AI Safety Hub in Cambridge, UK, focused on building mechanisms to verify what AI chips are computing, where they operate, and at what scale. Twenty fully funded participants (engineers, researchers, and PhD students) receive a £1,500 stipend plus expenses to attend talks, working sessions, and project work on topics like tamper-evident enclosures, telemetry and network monitoring, attestation protocols, and cryptographic approaches to inference verification between 17–22 August 2026.
