SPAR (Supervised Program for Alignment Research)

SPAR is Kairos’s part-time, remote research fellowship focused on risks from advanced AI, matching aspiring AI safety and policy researchers with experts for impactful projects. Research conducted through SPAR has been accepted at ICML and NeurIPS, covered by TIME, and has led to full-time job offers for mentees; its Fall 2025 round featured 80 projects and 309 mentees across 55 countries.
